Who Is A better Actor Dave Chappelle or Chris Rock

We all know chris has been in 'the game' longer but who does better films.

Although Dave is killed or beat-up in all his films:

Men in tights
Undercover blues
Nutty professor
Con Air
Undercover Brother

but he has memorable roles.

All of chris' films never made big box office Bucks.

hello....well I guess you already showed you like Chappelle more than Chris Rock from your post....I have never really liked one more than the other....Or should I say pitted them against each other....but I do like Rock's standup better than Chappelles......they are both Ok in movies.....altho I do like one movie.....of Chappelles....or more like....some white guy named Norm...he is a butler an Chappelle is the owner of a small eating place....called the The Chicken Hole....it is not a great movie to others but I like it....

Man "Head Of State" Just went off and that is my mom's favorite,movie right now!!!!!But Rock can't really act but he is funny as hell!!!

head of state....I guess that is a Chris Rock show....I seen a couple of Chris Rock movies...he is ok...kind of wooden like approach to acting......but yeah Chapelle is more adept at acting.....

The Chappelle Movie with Norm McDonald is called Scrooged and it is very funny.

I dunno who is better. I think Dave has gotten better material to work with in a movie. Some of Chris Rocks early movies are funny as hell. Check out: I'M GOING TO GET YOU SUCKA-THE ONE RIB GUY, NEW JACK CITY -POOKIE THE CRACKHEAD, CB-4. I think that since his Bring the Pain/ Chris Rock HBO show days he and Hollywood have been trying to break him into the movies. The movies I have seen have been spotty with some good moments but overall dissappointing to me as a Chris Rock fan. HEAD OF STATE- I just knew with him and Bernie Mac was going to be one of the funniest of all time. HEAVEN CAN WAIT and POOTIE TANG both had some funny parts but for the most part were average. I think Chris really needs to take his time and chose or produce the right role for himself.

As for Chappelle, I have liked his roles thus far. HALF BAKED, SCROOGED, NUTTY PROFESSOR... I just want to see what he will do in a lead role capacity.

Accually The movies were screwed(not scrogged)
and Down to earth(not heaven can wait)
and for the first guy its not that I like chappelle better than rock its that I like chappelles material better than rocks but before I knew who chappelle was I knew who chris rock was
