Comic badge, maybe?

Post by jane_haze »

Tonight I got my first retroactive death threat!

Woo! Granted, I deserved a bit of chastising or something, as I had some bad form (that I *IMMEDIATELY* learned a lesson from), but the insult was funny! (And had a purpose...). A death threat...that's more than I could ask for!

Anyone else had anything remotely similiar?

My 2nd gig I was spit on for no good reason

Same place another night I was picking on a skin head just teasing him not toobad just having a bit of fun so he decided that he needed to throw his coffee on me destroying a shirt that my grandfather had given me that was near and dear to my heart.

I had a large gay man waiting for me after a Roy Horn backfired then I made an A.I.D.S joke that just dug me deeper. See I can make aids jokes with my nancy friends and they know I don't mean it. But I learned the hard way that just cuz I know guy people who get a kick out of my so call "Anti gay jokes" Doesnt mean every one will.

Yeah so I'v been there

smjmcomic,

Yeah, I'm fine. I cracked on this hoe/airhead. Which in retrospect, was stupid of me. Stupid, stupid. It was really apart of my bit randomly pick some chick in the front.

Then I realized, wow...I really, really shouldn't have said that, nor should I say anything remotely close in the future, even if it was meant in jest.

Then after the show, the chick and her friends were talking at the club, about how I wasn't funny and other stuff I couldn't quite make out, but I did hear... "We should have shot her then."

What?! 8-o As if I didn't feel bad enough for my stage faux pas....

It's all good. I'm fine. But...I'll watch myself the next few times I go to the club and maybe even add an apology in there...

jane_haze,I went off on a heckler so bad one night she threw a bar stool at me, tried to rush the stage and was taken out by securty..though it would of been funny to see me get beat up by a lady.

smjmcomic,

I saw her the next night at a different club! That was...awkward. But I did better, and I closed with "Thanks for not shooting me."

Murph...
Whew...I'm glad it wasn't *that* bad. I can laugh at it now.

I think it is a badge. Now I don't have to do it again...

Some people just can't take a joke but they feel the need to come out to comedy clubs
