Richard_Pryor,

there is a couple of white comedians i seen on 'tough crowd' lately that crack me up pretty good...

i also think dave attell is pretty funny. and also... i think one of my all time favorite is dom irera (spell check). but he is italian... still white... but when it comes to stand up... italians, and jews are in a different catagory than regualr white comedians. so i dont know if he counts. hahaha

seriously though... if you like that drunken texan type stuff, check out ron white. i think he is really funny too.

gareth

p.s.

cbreez0101,
Thanks for mentioning Bill Hicks, the 10th Anniversary of his death just passed on Feb. 26th. He died at the tender age of 32 from pancreatic cancer.
He never got on stage just to hear himself talk, there was an underlying point to everyone of his bits and even if you didn't agree with his point of view he was slick enough with words to use humor to make you listen.
Prior to his death, he wrote the following quote to be read at his funeral..."I left in love, laughter & truth wherever love, laughter and truth abide, my spirit will be there."
Rest In Peace Bill,

cbreez0101,

Bill Hicks was a funny dude. He was a voice like no other, mostly he was a comics comic, if you know what I mean. He loved the late spots at the comedy store. Other funny white comics were Ollie joe Pratter, my friend Carl Lebeau, Mitchell Walter, and Keith Garnett aka the Angry Jew. Keith passed away at 31. But some of the funniest comics aren't in contests or competitions. But back on the subject, Bill was a talent that will be missed and overlooked, as most people who are ahead of there time are.

Robbie,
Did u know that Bill Hicks has a Foundation for Wildlife and Wolf Hybrid Rescue. Feb. 26 was the 10th aniversary of Bill's passing. I think in his honor, it would be wonderful to make a donation to his Foundation-Richard and I did so. Bill was such a great lover of animals. We admire him for that as well!!! We will put up a link-for the time being it's BillHicks.com
