Ashcroft and Homeland Security weren't in sync! Now the government is confused, not just us!Tom RIdge and Ashcroft not sharing information. Tom Ridge says he was taken off guard by the press conference Ashcroft staged the other day.And there was still confusion yesterday!!! Apparently it's looking as if Ashcroft is off on his own doomsday predictions! Ridge says they have had this and others like it, all the time. He was thrown off by Ashcroft! Damn-doesn't that make us feel secure!!!!
So, I think CBreeze is right! All political motivation!!!They are trying to manipulate us!!

That was a little unsettling but you know what's worse?
The can't raise the terrorist warning level to "Orange" because it costs about a billion dollars a day for the extra security.
This is the stinger.....we can't raise security because then we couldn't afford the war.
