Heaven And Hell
what is god?is he a feeling?is he a sound
will he always be there when my walls fall down
to help me up and build a fence
will he know when im confused
can his wisdom help me make sence
what is the cross is it a piece of would that only slinters
or is it a sign that we really are all sinners,is religion a word
our parents said to make us feel safe when they tucked
us into bed,are there angels around us that guide us under wing
is their voice the one that sings to us when the pain of life
only seems to sting,if theres a heavn where is it at
is it far away or right at our feet like a welcome matt?
is heaven in a song or in a book or is heaven
and chirst in the face of the person we love if love is heaven
then life is our hell with all the pain a temptation in a world
that just spins round.
