SweetLuchia,
Those are great Star Wars stories! I named my daughter Aaliyah partly because it had the name Liyah (Leia) in it, so she always knows she's a princess. We may have to start our own little Star Wars post so we can kick it about all things Star Wars and Richard Pryor! This is just too cool talking about Pryor & Star Wars all in the same breath.
I actually went to the Star Wars Celebration 2 in Indianapolis when Ep. 2 came out and I was blown away because I met so many actors and people from the films.
I even got to personally thank Anthony Daniels (C3P0) and shake his hand in front of a packed audience for giving me such a great childhood during a Q & A session he was conducting. I must've conveyed the feelings of everyone there because the audience gave me a thunderous round of applause. It was the highlight of the trip. When i was leaving one lady who was an usher even stopped me because she recognized me and thanked me for saying what i said and said she was almost moved to tears!
It was something else!
I also met Billy Dee Williams (bingolong himself!),
the guy who plays Chewie, Peter Mayhew and a few other actors. I also got lucky and got to chat with Rick McCallum for a minute after a stage discussion (probably should've asked for a job!) He was real cool. It was just a really great experience and I plan on going to Celebration 3 next year which is being hosted by Indianapolis again because they had such a good experience there. That's a great little city to hang in too. We may all have to hook up and go down together and get our geek on!

(I'm hoping since this is the last film that ol' George himself will come down and hang. But I hear he's very shy with fans. Here's to hoping!)
