What do you do before a gig to get you pumped up?

Heres what I do as soon as I get up I put on some melow music (Today Etta James) Then after of few cups of coffee I talk a nice long walk to clear my head then when I get back I Eat something then have a smoke and then I go over my notes untill I feel as if I have it down pat. Then its another 2 or 3 cups of coffee then a long shower a and then I go over my notes a few more times then I'm set on the way to the venu I listen to one of my favorite comedy albums Ether a Pryor/Hicks album just so I can get a good laugh to relax me. Then I show up I have another some take a walk around the block then once I get back I have another smoke. Then once I have had my Marlboro fix I'm ready to go. I drink so much Damn coffee I allways have to piss ether before or during my set
When I tell people about my before show hijinx they look at me like theres something wrong with me
Maybe there is something wrong with me?

I only had about maybe 2 hours of sleep so I might have to dig deep to nail this one.
I'm out gotta go over those notes a few more times. I want this demo to not suck

Yeah! Quit Stressing. Chill out! It is just a performance, we all will have one, but just relax and talk. you'll be fine.

Robbie,
I'm just a bit stressed with the fact that its my first gig in 3 months and I'm filmimg a demo I tend to put alot of pressure on myself.

I don't think I can fuck these jokes up I know them by heart shit I wrote the bastards.
I'm dedacating tonights gig to a really good friend of mine who just lost her grandfather she's been going through a tough times so I figure I try to my best to give her something laugh about and get her mind of of things for a bit.

Alright I'm out I gotta be at the venue in 2 hours.
