Anytime I knew that Richard was on a program, I would sit down an hour ahead of time to be sure not to miss him. I also can remember laughing while listening to his recordings on my sisters old record player, late into the night while our parents were asleep, and trying not to laugh out loud. Boy, that was almost impossible. we got caught a few times, but we would do it all over again the very next night. Talk about bringing joy into lives, Richard, you have. God Bless you brother. And may I just say thank you.
Queen,I just read your tribute to Richard and Im glad to know that young Afro Americans are relating to him. Since you had to sneak and listen , Im most likely the age of your parents (67). continue to enjoy and God bless.
