Cheer Me Up

I need some cheering up....
A lot of you know me, and a lot of you [/i]think[/i] you know me......
You know from a lot of my posts that I had a really bad marriage and I still don't think I've recovered from it.
I have been known as distant and self centered by my friends because of the way I grew up. I was shy and insecure.
I had polio as a child and it has left me with a limp that is getting worse by the week.
Since my divorce, and the way my marriage went so bad, I have been sort of an introvert, and I know that's my fault, but when you get married and you try as hard as you can to make it and it still goes bad, it hurts.
God blessed me with wonderful parents,great siblings, an ability to sing, an abilty to put words together to form a book,ability to make music, and with many stories to tell.
Now I know it took a long time to get to the point of this post,but what I need to hear right now is,with all the madness that invades our daily life, please tell me about something good that happened to you today.
I'll take anything....found a penny on the sidewalk...anything.......

First time that's happened, I think.

As well, I wrote 3 tracks for my CD.

And, watched my Eddie Murphy, Will Farrel and Adam Sandler SNL DVDs...

Usually, smoking only enhances a man's vocal quality. Deepening it and adding a "been there" sound. Unless you were a soprano...

JTF,
Actually JTF I was a great singer in my youth and then I lost my voice for about 12 years when I was about 30....I was in a weekend band at the time.
I thought it was gone for good but it has come back to respectability....I don't sings the songs of my youth but I can still make the people stop and listen.

Okay, here's a second shot..
I bought a "new" used car today. A '95 Ford Mustang and a new stereo to go with it.
Or, how about this? I won $50 in a lotto scratch off...But that was yesterday.
