So good to hear you are talking man but it must be frustrating. I am a nurse and worked in Palliative care (the support of the terminally Ill) for a long time before coming to live in Thailand. I got caught up badly in Tsunami and worked at the hospital in Phuket for 2 weeks after, helping folks look for their missing and come to terms with their loss. Humour was always present as weird as it seems. Its a gift you give to the world and you should never dount its healing power. It is part of the emotional vocabulary you develop when helping people to stare down their demons and I have used your lines for years so thanks man.
We lost everything in the tsunami too, business, money and now we don't have a pot to piss in, ain't no such thing as Karma, what goes around, just fucks off. We just had one damn funny night as I tried to translate your stuff to my Thai family, it was fucked up but still funny and the next day we woke up and stood tall and faced another day. Hope you live forever man,

Damn!! it sounds like a nightmare out there. I was in bangok a few years back but never made it to the southern Islands. I hope that some degree of normality reaches that region eventually. It's almost been a year now.

I love the line in your message "hope you live forever man" that just sums up how I feel about TMIC. I've been arguing with these comedy people over here about why I rate Richard over everyone else, it's not just the jokes, its because of his ability to show his humanity. But they are not hearing it!

Anyway, Rich, Jen and the whole crew, keep the sunshine on our faces!!
