Have a day for him. Remember him and the blessing he was for you in the all too brief time he had. Know that we all will have our time, his was just much earlier than you could have ever expected.
And when all of this doesn't do you a damn bit of good, just think about what he would have wanted. Would he want you to fall apart? If it was you instead of him, would you have wanted him to fall apart, or to remember you and be thankful for the time you had together.
If you have a drink, drink to celebrate his life!
And by all means... Spend time with friends...

JTF, hell I hope drinking is in there somewhere, cause I went out at lunch and got drunk..now I'm sitting at work trying not to look drunk around my cowokers..luckily I'm crazy enough sober that they don't know the difference..and thanks man for the heartfelt words

hey I don't know what happened, but I know you will make it through it. try a nice stiff drink, lots of funny people around you and count your blessings.

Yeah Murph, I don't really know the full score of your grief, but I just wanna say that we all have to face these things in life. I always say that God gave us the complete range of emotions from extreme laughter to extreme sorrow, because he knew that life would throw at us events that will bring them all out.
After the rain will come the sunshine again...
