I haven't written in so long. You niggas make a lady want to write...I wrote this awhile ago....

Daddy No!

To touch me there would be a sin
I said out loud as he began
to stroke me with a warm caress-
he whispered , "Shhh,,,"
and tugged my dress

Daddy No... Don't touch me there
You said you loved me
but , you didn't care-

With no words or warning
you entered me dry
The pain so crucial
I wanted to die.

Now here we are,
you've stained my heart and my soul..
and my innocence is gone
at only 8 years old.

Well damn...why don't we just change the Poem. This one I wrote in response to a Richard Pryor article and they published it in the next issue...Vibe magazine- the one with Biggie and Faith on the cover.

Emotional Journey

You're born
You go on
You travel and explore
You experience this life
As you haven't before.
No Trains. No Planes
'Cause the change is within-
It flows through your soul like spontaneous sin.
It takes you for a ride
with the anger, hurt and hate
It's a bumpy one of course,
But it's all just a bait.
It's the emotion of love that must be endeared
For it only brings tranquillity
When embraced and not feared.
