Spalding Gray
Spalding was a brilliant monologuist, Swimming To Cambodia was his most brilliant movie; he had a terrible accident in Ireland and suffered brain damage. He was into a deep depression and after many suicide attempts, finally did it. They found his body today, after missing for one month, in the river down by the Brooklyn Bridge in New York. He took his son to see Big Fish a few hours before he did it. Some think that movie gave him permission to jump. He combined acting and comedy in an original voice and brought his pain and intelligence and keen obvervations all out to play! We will miss him!
