Letterman or Leno?

ok I just realized I "growed up"

with Letterman, starting in high school.

my aunt made me realize that when she started talking about Leno in prime time. the last time I watched Leno, he guest starred in an episode of Good Times - when JJ thought he had v.d.

nothing against Leno or Carson because I rarely watched Carson either,but I like Letterman's style.

anyone has a pref or do you watch both?

Neither compel me to watch the way Carson Arsenio and Chevy Cha.....have. I kind of prefer Kimmel and Conan before : Letterman or Leno.

I feel the earlier you come on the more edge you lose. I think that and age is what happened to Dave....and with Leno going to 10pm weeknights he won't have edge ....he will just be dull!!! LOL

They do get higher profile guests though.Looking forward to Jimmy Fallon's show....his house band will be THE ROOTS!!!!!!

I can never stay up long enough to watch Conan but when I have, always liked it.

now Craig Ferguson, funny, but also can't stay up that late, or remember to watch if either recorded.

and oooooh snap!

on Jimmy Fallon's band. that will be interesting which means guest bands will be good as well.

but hands down for showcasing new comics: Carson was the best:) and Carson's show was more like a variety show than a late night talk show.

Letterman is clearly better from Paul Shafer to New York to his superior writting staff. His interview skills are way above Leno's but saying that it's hard to dis-like Leno. He and his team are just not quite as good...P.S. I hate to say this because I'm half Irish but Conon gets on my nerves. All his free association comedy is irritating..ie,
Conan to guest.."So how has your holidays been?
Guest..........."It was great. Got a sweater from my wife."
Conan..........."Was it red? Have any lint? Did the dog think it was competion and go bark. bark, bark?"

Everything is an attempt to show you he has a sense of humour...

Conan's opening monologue is great, but I can never stay awake to watch his whole show. now it sounds like I'm not missing much.

for me carson can never be beaten he simply was the very best...now for guys still alive and on air..my vote goes to conan...he simply cracks me up!!!
