i normally detest message boards but i am a pryor freak, always have been. i look under topics and see my name is one. the fact is that being a topic, however small, on richard pryor's message board pleases me. i also realize that the amount of pleasure this gave me makes me a tool. i almost wish pryor wasn't so important to me; i'd love to have an original name to toss out when people ask who my favorite was. it's amazing how as comics we all try to be different and almost disagree on purpose but the one thing that all of us agree on (or at least most of us) is that richard is better at this then any of us will ever be. no matter how hard i work, how much i write, how many sets i do, i'll never write material that people love as much as i love his. jimnorton
