DC area clubs.

Post by jane_haze »

what comedy clubs are in the DC area? I know about the Improv...but there are more right? they've got some good comics coming out of that scene, so I'm sure there are more than just that one.

astonamous,

I'll just be there a night. Last time I was there on my way out of the country, I manage to catch my hero, Mr. Proops, at the Improv, but this time Flip Orley is gonna be there, and I have no interest to see him. I don't think he's moved from that comedy club since last year.

I used to live there back in the day for about 4 years, but I didn't even know about the improv then! It took me a move back to tennessee to find that.

I'm sure there has to be more than one. How else did Tommy Davidson get started.

jane_haze,
Weird, I checked Shecky to see if they had any listed, but they only listed the Improv. Here's the link: http://www.sheckymagazine.com/clublist.htm#colo

You might want to email Traci or Brian, they might know. Otherwise I don't know where you'd look. I've barely been out of my own town, let alone my country.
