I don't know what the deal is, but I've tried to register a couple of times and I never get the confirmation email. What gives? Moving on...
I really wanted to post on the We Love Richard forum and let people know why he and Jennifer are so special. Several weeks ago I emailed them a link to one of my short comedy films on the web. It's something I do every now and then - try to contact the people I respect and admire in the business and let them know that the work I've created is due in large part to their inspiration. Anyway, not an hour goes by and there in my in-box is an email from RP and JLP saying they watched and enjoyed my short. Do you know how amazing that is? How much it means to someone who is struggling to make it in LA to get a response from a living legend - and in less than an hour?! I'm still flying high off of that email, and subsequent exchanges, and whenever I doubt myself, my work and my chances of success I will look to that email to lift me up. Thank you Richard and Jennifer - you've made my year!

I am a white man living in South Africa, I was wondering if you could give me advice on how best to emulate your style of comedy? I’m having trouble getting the tonality and emphasis you place on certain words down, any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Seriously, Mr Pryor, you’ve made me laugh till snot came out my nose so many times, I’m running out of snot. I remember when I was a kid watching see no evil/hear no evil and laughing so hard I nearly wet my pants. Recently I saw one of your live DVDs which made me think of you again which is how I ended up here.
Thank you so much for making me laugh so hard. You are an inspiration.
