What happened to Chris?
Hey I was wondering what the deal is with Chris Tucker and what yall thought about him? He has another Rush Hour coming but thats it!!!When he came out with "Money Talks" (I'm watching it right now hence the reason for this post)it was so much better than the Martin Lawerence flick he did with Tim Robbins that came out the same summer.I think Tucker is funny but he needs to spread it out just a little bit better,what do you guys think?

BIG Tucker fan! He has a lot of talent and a lot more potential. I, too, wish I could see him more on screen! I definitely like him better than Chris Rock!

Yeah Rock is not the best actor but a damn good standup!!Tucker is missing out on alot of the shine alot of the other young comics are getting.Those Rush Hour Movies are a hit mainly b/c of him.He should do some more stuff here and there the last time I saw him he went to Africa with Bono.
Oh and everybody knows Chappelle is doing his thing!!

Tucker is a weird phenomenon, is it a case of laziness or fear? Or does he think he's bigger than the roles he's been offered? Either way, he has dropped off the radar it seems. Chris Rock has always been uncomfortable in movies but he is the best stand up out there now. And we all know Chapelle will be in a ton of movies if he chooses, it will be interesting to see if he will become overexposed...

I still think Chappelle is a victim of how watered down everything is today due to having 100,000,000 channels. If this were 1977, Dave would likely get a special. That 1 hour special would have to be the best of his material, and would make him a legend.
I have only seen most of season 1 and a few random episodes afterwards. The first six episodes were funny as hell! After that, it fell mostly flat and started revisiting old ideas. That's because they put all the good shit on in order to keep from being cancelled, which he repeatedly said would happen in early episodes.
I'm gonna borrow my girlfriend's dvd set and copy the scenes I like. Sure, I could lay down the $20 and buy the dvds, but I'd never watch them. I will watch 2 hours of the "best" from season 1.

Don't sleep!!!Usually in the first season if you the first "skits" fell flat he killed with the final skit of the episode.
The bad thing about Tucker is he doens't do stand up no more does he?I saw him like ten years ago before he blew up and he had a tight show.The good thing about Chappelle and Rock is they continue to do stand-up even though they have gotten to point were they can somewhat opt not to.Fuck it I'll even give Jamie Foxx and Martin Lawerence props for that.

Jamie Foxx is gay and Martin Lawrence is tired... really. I was so disappointed when I saw RunTelDat - thats the last thing I saw of him. I thought it was terrible - I chuckled maybe two or three times.
He has a lot of talent, as do a lot of these guys -- they just blow up big then I think their egos get the best of them. They think they are too good for the roles they are presented with. And that sucks, cause sooner or later, roles will not be presented anymore... maybe THATS whats going on with some of these guys...
