NBC DVD SPECS

Post by reelblack »

Richard: Thanks for going the extra mile and loading the Box Set edition of the DVD with all kinds of bonuses and outtakes. Ever since I had the chance to see the 37-minute impromptu Mudbone performance at the Museum of the Moving Image retrospective in LA, it has been my goal to find it and share it with others. Now it looks like it will be available to the world in a mere 4 weeks! For those who don't know, the Box Set edition will contain the following EXTRAS, so start saving up!:
"Featuring a Bonus 57-Minute Richard Pryor Special! The bonus DVD also includes outrageous bonus material: Never before seen 37-minute Richard Pryor "Mudbone" Monologue, 42-Minute Roast Segment, Outtakes, and Scripts for Unfilmed sketches including "Gay Nightmare" and "From Television City in Hollywood... Whitey for a Day". Unfilmed Scenes including "Gay Nightmare" and "From Television City, Hollywood...Whitey for a Day"." ):)

SweetLuchia,
Thanks for the compliment. That is a picture of me. You should let me know when you're in Philly. :-x I suggest you buy your copy as asoon as possible. You won't have to save up as much. Places like BEST BUY are discounting the box set deeply (26-29 bucks)for the first week of release and I know for a fact that the first pressing is already in short supply. And make sure you buy the box set and not the 2 single discs. That's the only way to get the Mudbone routine. I'll be among the first in line to pick mine up in the morning. I'm not gonna be forced to drive all over town again like I did last month looking for the Chappelle's Show DVD!

I went to Zimbabwe. I know how white people feel in America now; relaxed! Cause when I heard the police car I knew they weren't coming after me!
