This is a document, written in 2000, from the neoconservative group New American Century. In it, the imperialist intentions of the neocons is outlined. These guys now work for the white house. The most disturbing part is where they explicitly say that a major 'pearl harbor' level event would be required to stimulate Americans into a war in the middle east. Lovely!

okay i just noticed that Paul Wolfowitz and I. Lewis Libby (Dick Cheney's chief of staff) are listed as participants in this.

check out this report regarding the abuse of the california energy crisis as a lead-in to war. ouch.

Now we're suing Enron in California for engineering the energy crisis, and the energy crisis was used to justify war. hmm.
