I'm not sure if you ever receive an answer to your original post. But I think it was either Sam Kinison or Bill Hicks. Both were hilarious. Hicks wasn't exactly fat though...chubby at times...

Rodney Dangerfield? Okay, he was an old school comedian. But he was still funny and ruled the 80's.
