What your Favorite Pryor flick?

Post by rapfam3 »

What’s up peeps?

This my first post anywhere. I've through a lot of the post on this sight, and there are a couple of things. One is that Bingolong is all over the place  The other is that there's a lot of love here. Since the age of eight when my late uncle introduced me to Richard by way of one of his albums I've loved Rich. Richard and my uncle shared the same since of humor. When ever Rich released a new Album he would let me listen to it, always secretly. Mom and Pops later told me, they always wondered why when he came by I would go to my room alone, shut the door and laugh my ass off. Thank Rich :) In closing I have a question for Richard and all other members.

What is your favorite Pryor Movie?
I'm really curios to know what Richard and Jenny's are.

As far as his non-stand-up flicks are concerned, I'd have to go with "Which Way Is Up?," "Blue Collar," "Silver Streak," and certain scenes in "Stir Crazy." He was great in "Lady Sings The Blues" as well. Oh, yeah..."Uptown Saturday Night," even though he was only in one scene.

sneakypreacher,

As a filmmaker..I loved JOJO DANCER. For Mr.Pryor to do a first time flick like that was truly excellent. But his best no standup film...thats a hard one...so many...it'll have to be a tie between, BLUE COLLAR, WHICH WAY IS UP, BUSTIN LOOSE and STIR CRAZY

rapfam3,
hey....I like Stir Crazy....and Lady Sings the Blues...although I never knew why they teamed him with Wilder....for I think he carried Wilder....even though Wilder did some earlier work that was noteworthy....I guess cause he was completely the opposite of Pryor...but I like the Stir Crazy....it seems some producers directed him too much in other films......although he is a heavyweight personality.....he is the tops.....as far as I am concerned...
