What About The Children

Politics, religion, racism, sex, the weather... there's always lots to think about so there's always lots to talk about. Progressive ideas are encouraged but all opinions are welcome.

What About The Children

Post by billyb0y »

If the religious fanatics get their way, a child learning to count to one thousand will not have to endure the number 69 because it is not a moral number.
Also under consideration for removal is the number 666 for obvious reasons.
And in a twist, the number 999 is also scheduled for removal, because in a twist it turns into 666.
This is a serious problem folks and if anyone has any other offending numbers to suggest, please post them here for the God fearing public to worry about @.@

deepseas,
I see.....I mean the government does have the right to keep the wool pulled over the public's eyes.
I guess Indiana is not the only state that is worried.
Residents of Intercourse Pennsylvania have decided not to wait for the backlash concerning their name and have decided to change it's name to "Fuck"

billyb0y,
At least Britian isn't the only country going potty with political correctness. They have started to ban certain nursery rhymes in schools over here like Baa Baa Black sheep. Fair dues I know what the song means but for a little 3 year old? You can't call a blackboard a blackboard any more it is a chalk board. You can get into trouble at a football ground for waving the St Georges cross as it might upset non English fans. Same in Scotland you are not allowed to wave the flag of St Andrew. You are only allowed to fly the Union Jack on public holidays so as not to offend other cultures.
Not being funny but I was always on the understanding that a racist comment is a comment meant to cause offence to the person it was aimed at. So how is calling a chalk board a blackboard offensive?
It's a mad world.
