That brings me to my point. Because of Mr. P’s honest and intimate brand of humor, we feel we know him and in some weird way have to protect him. That’s probably why there are skeptics where Jennifer is concerned. Even though it was none of my business, I was concerned about her motives. But before I passed judgement, I read a lot of her posts to get a feel for where she was coming from. I could tell she was the real deal. One day I checked the site and someone dissed Jen in a post. I felt compelled to defend her, but before I could about ten of the regulars took care of him. Turns out she needed no help. Jen (no shrinking violet) made short work of the ass so I new my services were not needed.
To shed a bit more light on Jen’s character there’s something you should know. Among her many causes, Jen tirelessly gives her time and money to Sheenway a educational program for children in the Los Angeles community of Watts and South Central Los Angeles, where children are threatened by the violence that grows out of economic desperation and racism. I know this because members of my dojo went there as kids and continue to support it as adults. Everyone there who has encountered her speaks of how sincere and passionate she is about their cause. She was at a event there Friday. There was no media there with exception of a Spanish speaking station doing a documentary. I’ve learned that you know someone’s character from what they do when no one is watching.
I feel comfort in knowing, that during a difficult time in Mr.P life, he’s got someone who genuinely loves him and cares for him. To those who feel the need to disrespect Jen, I challenge you to read some of her posts (God knows there’s enough of them
