What is the stupidest thing you have ever done?

Stupidest thing I ever done was when I had been drinking tequilla and some other very strong alcohol, as well as the occasional spliff, all day and decided to test my balacing skills by walking along a metal railing with a nice 30foot drop the other side. Needless to say when my footing went I was lucky enough to grab hold of the railing and save my life. Never had another heavy drinking session after that as most of the stupid things that I have done involved alcohol. On saying that driving under the influence of drink and drugs was a pretty stupid thing to do, thank god I didn't kill anyone, never done it since. There are probably loads of other stupid things that I have done whilst drunk which I have failed to remember, life can be such a blur at times.

My story occured when I was 17 or so and hysterically in love with a girl. We were sitting in an outdoor cafe and I suddenly had the urge to go to the bathroom--code brown. So I stood up to make my way to the bathroom, however the movement caused a slight movement, and I indulged in the ancient art of flatulence, loudly. My girlfriend laughed and I laughed with her, before proceeding to the restroom downstairs. I sat down on the 'terlet', as it is sometimes referred to, and as I begun reading the graffiti on the bathroom wall to pass the time, somebody kicked the door of my stall open. It was a big dude. Did he want sex or to help me shit? No. All he said was 'apologise'. So I did. A tip to interested parties: if my pants are down, I have an easier time apologising. Once I apologised, he left the bathroom.
As it turns out, he had been sitting behind me when I farted. The laughing was probably what pushed him over the edge. So the moral of the story is 'don't laugh at your own gas'.
