I am not the most computer savy person but I had the same thing happen when I tried to upload a photo. If you have it stored on a website that stores photos for you(like photo bucket or webshots)they have an option that allows you to edit and reduce the size of your photo. Hope that helps. Beautiful dog!

Glad you like the cat. When I joined you guys already had all of the cool Richard avatars and I didn't want to copy. I guess it still could be considered Richard related. It has been the topic of some of his best jokes
