Thanksgiving Traditions

Politics, religion, racism, sex, the weather... there's always lots to think about so there's always lots to talk about. Progressive ideas are encouraged but all opinions are welcome.

astonamous,
Just got thru sharing some thoughts with JTF:

[/i]The late great Redd Foxx once said:
"Do you realize that if the Pilgrims had shot Bobcats instead of Turkeys
we'd be eating pussy for Thanksgiving!!!!!"

I went to Zimbabwe. I know how white people feel in America now; relaxed! Cause when I heard the police car I knew they weren't coming after me!

RDixon & bingolong,

Thanksgiving traditions all the way around!

Except, as George Carlin once said "Did you ever notice that you never get laid on Thanksgiving? I think it's because all the coats are on the bed..."

astonamous,
I have to say buying the mashed potatoes is the funniest tradition at my house. I told them all that I would learn to make it for next year.
