While I don't think that this is the way I want to spend my bachelor party, I don't think the act of blowing shit up is necesarily wrong. Now keep in mind that I am an extremist left winger and my hope is to see the south secede from the union before the next election so we don't have to deal with the bible thumpers deciding who our next president is. I am actually a believer in the right to keep and bear arms (with a few modifications mind you). I don't believe in hunting, I just won't do it, and I don't see the fun in it, but if you put a paper target in my line of sight, that fucker has just breathed his last little paper breath. There's an adrenaline rush you get from the danger aspect of a rather large, controlled explosion happening in your hands. And the bigger the gun, the funner it is. When it comes to a gun in the house, I would prefer to have one for the protection of my family but "the woman" doesn't want one and wouldn't feel comfortable with it here, so I don't keep one.
Now living in the proximity of DC, there is a gun ban in the city and no one is allowed to have a gun in the city, and that's the way most residents like it, it's cut down significantly on gun violence here. Now there is a bill in congress that is trying to lift that ban even though the residents of the city are against it. Now why would anyone be against keeping guns out of a city that has had the title of "murder city" placed on it. Maybe because in some instances, gun control works and the NRA doesn't want that data shown. I'm very divided on the subject, so I know that I sound like Two-Face from the batman comics "Guns are Good!!! No, guns are BAD!!!" but to me it all makes sense in some wierd way. Maybe it means that I believe that I should be allowed to own a gun, but nobody else in the country should be allowed to. Oh yeah, Fuck Bush!!!
