The Lily Tomlin Special (and other shit on my mind)

I just finished watching one of the Lily Tomlin Specials from 1973. Richard was in it and co-wrote the show.

It seems to me that variety/skit shows back then started to go to greater lengths to be as realistic as possible. This is probably almost as important as the comedy itself. With more realism there, the audience would be more drawn into it and the material would have a greater impact.

Richard is a genius at "keepin' it real" and I think that's one of the things that make him so unique and one-of-a-kind.

Now, let's get back to this Lilt Tomlin shit. The Special I have, Richard plays a wino in a cafe where Lily Tomlin works. There was another one Richard was a part of, which I haven't tracked down yet. I've only seen one clip;Richard plays a wino who gets trapped in an elevator with Lilly Tomlin. Anyone have/seen this?

I remember about 3 years ago, I came into contact with a guy by the name of Tim Neely. He said he had a bunch of Richard material (he emailed me quite an impressive list). I sent him $180 and guess what. I got fucked!! Didn't receive shit!! Anyone hear of this motherfucker?
