The potential it has is to ruin Family Guy. It's much too similar, but nat very good. Any decent gags they do on [/i]Am. Dad[/i] are things that probably could have come off beter in [/i]FG[/i]. Anytime you stretch yourself too thin, your work suffers. Try writing two novels about Russian sub disasters simultaniusly. Groening was able to do both [/i]The Simpsons[/i] and[/i]Futurama[/i] because they were nothing alike. [/i]Am. Dud[/i] only had one good scene, (The Iraqi IKEA family) and that could easily have been in [/i]Family Guy.[/i]

That alien that sounded like Paul Lynde was kind of funny too.

But we have already got Family Guy so to watch American Dad is like watching something else for pretty much the same jokes and humor.It might run stale.But the main reason I am against American Dad is b/c FOX is planning on taking off my show Arrested Development for it
