robfharris, yeah it was a show in Fresno, the crowd wouldn'ts top yelling out "I'm Rick james Beootch" and he was getting pissed, hell so was I for that matter. And to top it the night off there was a brawl in the row directly infront of me..despite all that I decided to start doing stand up comedy not long after seeing the show
That Wayans story had me laughing. Wasn't expecting it. I know it's juvenile humor...but still gave me a chuckle. I read this Chappelle interview where he talked about being sick of the "Rick James" and "Tyrone Biggums" bits. I guess that goes with the territory. Wayans was a great comic
LKizzle,
Damon is a great comic, as others have stated he deserves the things he's worked for. In a family of other performers, he kept to the stage and performed very funny topical and observational humor, of his time, and continues to do so today. Keenan was a brilliant comic in new york and is twice as brilliant as a writer. His work has made millions of people laugh, as well as made millions of dollars...ie. Scary Movie 1 & 2, co-writing White Chicks. One thing the Wayans brothers do well is working with family and keeping real with the funny.
Robbie Peron making audiences laugh since 1986...Beer making ugly people look attractive since 1786.
