Question to Mr. Pryor On Mr. Murphy

I got a question about Eddie Murphy. Are you still in contact with him and what is his deal? Why do you think his comedy has become so dry and stale? I mean he's playing all these "family" type roles these days. Is this a natural progression for comics as they get older or is he just tired of trying to top himself. It seems he's gotten comfortable and it's sad to watch considering where he came from. It just seems like a pattern that all our black heroes eventually get shut down or shut up. I watch Dave Chappelle and I just pray the same thing doesn't happen to him. It seems that could be the path he's on though. They use you up and then spit you out. I know I'm ranting, but I just wish it was like the old days again I guess. You guys (Redd, yourself, Eddie, Cos) were the TRUE Kings of Comedy. But as they say, nothing lasts forever.
