Kristof (from nytimes.com) had an interesting editorial on this a few days ago. Basically, she would be an awesome candiate....if she wern't from New York, she was a man, and her name wasn't Clinton.

Personally, I'm hoping they groom Barack Obama for the run. I know the prospect of a black president is daunting, but he made such an impression at the DNC. He's a progressive with a spine, exactly what people who sway left need.

astonamous, the sad thing is the only way a woman could win the election, is if she was a republican..the way republicans to this day go into a froth at the mention of Hillary's name tells you how much they fear a strong woman..and the Clintons
