If i don't help---who am I ...
no better than the one who causes pain...

I must try, however, small my endeavor...
to prove that we can all be better...

to show how we can elevate,
even our sorry selves
from our small minded lookouts,
from our small minded hell...

to give back
even if you think you were deprived...
that's the kind of heart I want...
the heart that will give me pride...

and hope in all that is, and is not...
if I try to care, my heart will rise...
instead of lying in my sorrow,
and then I will only despise...

in this world that will help to
