robfharris,

lol... I'm not very funny on stage until I start to panic, for some reason then jokes just come floodin', but I'm not tryin' to be funny... It's like, "oh shit people I'm fuckin' up"... which, they find funny, and saves me... Making hecklers feel dumb is the best way to shut em' up, I love usin' the "dumb" voice... YOU know the dumb voice...

Noib,

Robbin Harris was the king of insulting hecklers and the audience.

"Will you put something in his mouth? My zipper is stuck..."

I love when a comedian goes off on members of the audience, but it sucks to be the one gone off on. I was the subject of ridicule at a Sinbad show for 35 minutes. That was some embarassing shit. I didn't heckle him, I just was the guy he picked from the audience that fit his bit.. I met him two years later and found him to be a real genuine guy.

Noib,

Exactly, but anytime you are singled out and clowned in front of 5000 people with no way of retaliation, it's embarassing.

I was hanging out with my nephews yesterday... two and one.
The two year old pretends to be a cop; he puts his toys under arrest for being "hard headed". He's a smartass.
The one year old... walks over to my brother, begins to cry and begs for my brother to sit him on his lap. My brother gives in picks up the kid. The second he gets on my brother's lap, my nephew opens his mouth and blasts my brother with vomit... he's clever!!! That's the key to comedy kids, timing.
Now that Johnnie's gone, I guess I should start being nice to the cops.

robfharris & Noib,
Yeah I loved the use of his music in the Richard Pryor IADYMF too.I wonder who thought to use that or if Mos just offered it to the project because it was a highlight to hear some of my favorite pieces of music paired with Richard Pryor ....but I guess this has nothing to do with the
