Can I get an honest opinion from you Americans on Bush. Do you think that he's really stupid, or does he just coneveniently play that role to divert attention from serious root issues?
The reason why I'm saying this is because, despite his so-called stupidity, he has refused to budge on many of the set out proposals issued at the G8 summit.
I sent a post a few weeks back where I said that the subject that most leaders like to sidestep when dealing with Africa are the unfair-trade laws. You can pour as much aid and debt-relief as you like, but as long as African farmers are forced to compete with Western farmers (who receive huge government subsidies which allow them to sell cheaper), there will never be any inroads into the apalling poverty seen on the continent. At this meeting, the issue has once again been shelved aside.
It's the same with climate control. We are destroying the planet, certain measures need to be implemented, but nothing has been resolved. Bush promised to deliver nothing and left delivering nothing. Blair is now being grilled because he promised that the matter would be addressed.
For all his dumbness, Bush always walks out of these meetings with a smile on his face. Because Blair tries to be clever, he is always having to defend his position to the British public. But Bush waves and smiles, fumbles when questioned but still carries on with his agenda. I have to ask you, because he won an election without getting elected, he started a war that nobody wanted and he got in for a second term. Maybe he's not as dumb as he looks!:p

The only thing Bush heard at the summit was the usual noise in his head, if you've ever heard the noise an amp makes when it's cranked up and the patch cord hits the floor then you've got a good idea. Everybody has been hoodwinked into a good old " I'll teach you to fuck with my dad". I've spent my life around the mentality, religion, schooling and etc that comes together to form Gdubs own particular brand of "I'm right fuck you" attitude. Keep them seperated and don't turn your back, they will smile and shake with one hand while the other is lubricating your ass with denture grip. I was a farmer and the farming issues piss me off, I can grow food or teach people to grow it. And the cocksuckers are profiting from people starving.
