I watched the very first miniseries but was kind of miffed that they made Starbuck a lady.Don't get me wrong that character was cool but who beat that original guy!!!

I, know ... I'm usually a purist on this stuff. But what they did with the characters, the writing ... is just unbelievable. And the original Apollo is on the show now, as a terrorist! Starbuck turned out to be one of my favorite characters on the show. When they recently hinted at her abusive childhood ... that her parents broke all her fingers and she didn't want to talk about it... brilliant. She is my second favorite, next to that crazy-ass doctor.
