Anyone know what role Mooney really did play in Pryor's Live on the Sunset Strip, I dont believe he wrote material for him like they say, and i know at the end of the concert it says Creative Consultant:Paul Mooney. I know all about how he wrote the "Just Us" bit for Sanford and Son. Anyone know? thanks

Had a good feel for the audience and what not, could read a mother fucka's face better than the FBI, dat's the Federal Bureau of investingations bitch.. That Son Pup may have knew funny, BUT WHAT THAT NIGGA WASN'T, WAS FUNNY..couldnt write a joke to save his own ass..The Ghost of Red Foxx could posses his ass and dat nigga still wouldn't be funny. Used to call him brick mouth and shit, every time he started to tell a joke, his mouth would fuck it up, mumblemouth mutha F%^&....

Yeah, I've heard that. I hope not. But I suppose its possible. A lot of comics steal from Hicks and not just Denis Leary either. I heard this one joke from Eddie Griffin about wearing crosses that sounds a lot like Hicks' Jesus bit.
