Of course Steve Harvey got it. Was there ever any doubt???? Harvey's a great guy too. I actually met him once backstage and I'll never forget what he told me, "get out of show business!" Just kidding. He's a class act...

dougdigitalpro,
If they played the sounds of nails on a chalkboard it would be better than Tom Joyner.
Oh, and Kiss sucks since they moved over to 105.9. Mason belongs in the morning...

JTF,
Reluctantly, I have to agree. Joyner is a great guy and very proficient at political activism, but I think his radio heydays may be over. Harvey, on the other hand, may be just what urban radio needs.

JTF,
yeah, remember back when Mason used to be DA MAN on morning radio? I don't know what happened. Whatever he had, he just lost it. I haven't liked him at all since he left JLB and Serch needs to eat it! I HATE his show and what JLB has become. Mix 92.3 really has turned more into what JLB USED to be back in the day. Just no hip-hop. You know we need an ol school hip hop channel. It's due time. Just all oldschool hip hop, all the time. That would be fantastic!

Re: Steve Harvey on Detroit Radio
Well, I just read somewhere that Steve is doing this as a nationally syndicated show from NYC, so I guess he won't be coming to Detroit afterall. The deal was probably made even before that so called "competition". Well, it's all good. Radio may be Steve's true calling. He's dabbled in everything else, so now he can just focus on doing this for a while. He's kept his name out there anyway with those damn Tracfone radio commercials they play all the time.
