They cut the gas supply into Houston Thursday morning. The same day we were told to evacuate. By noon there was no gas in the 4th largest metropolitan city in the U.S. was completely devoid of gasoline. None. No gas, No water. No convenience stores open in case of an emergency. We are trapped and this morning I walked 2 hours looking for an open station with a gas can. There is none. The streets are filled with families stuck in their cars, without access to food, water or assistance. Phone and landlines are malfunctioning. I can't comprehend why they would cut the gas supply so soon after instructing us to leave.
