I thought Blazing Saddles was fine as it was.

If RP had starred it would have been a different film. Brooks may not have hired RP to do some writing, so we may not have had Mongo. One of the best scenes wouldn't have come off as well either... When Bart sings that "Old Negro Spiritual" [/i]I Get a Kick Out of You[/i], Little was tremendous. He had a background in musicals and had a fine voice. As much as RP is the man, I don't know that he is the singer that Little was...

RP still made him sone cash off the film, and made many fine movies. I'm not crying for his career. I don't think he lies awake at night, crying about Little getting the role either...

Dear JTF's Deep Thoughts.

I need some advice. Yesterday I was supposed to make a lunch for my wife so she could come home and have a nice meal before going back to work, of course I forgot until it was too late to do anything about it, or so I thought...a little later the phone rang and she had decided to stay at the cafeteria and have lunch and had apparantly forgot I was supposed to make her a special lunch that day...of course I did the only thing a guy could do in a situation like that...fired up the grill and cooked lunch, I barely got it done before she got home that afternoon but was able to set out one clean plate and rub some food on another one and leave it in the sink....it worked like a charm, she's ever so sorry she forgot our lunch date and even shed some tears last night.
The question is , Should I wait and rub it in her face the next time she pisses me off or just let her have it monday after she's spent the weekend properly making up for her mistake?
