Wendie Jo Sperber dies of cancer

many of you may remember her from Bosom Buddies. she was in her 40's and just lost the battle to breast cancer

great and vibrant personality. and Bachelor Party is one of my favorite comedic movies. I remembered her character more than the others.

okay ,, she played Marty McFly's sister Linda ,Gee that's sad,b.b She had a long list of credits in her career , But I'm sure She would have been most proud of her work to help find a cure for breast cancer.
I went to school with a member of the cast of Back to the future II, Remember the girl that grabbed Marty by the crotch and said " What's the matter... McFly , No Scrote ?"

jr high and high school , Darlene Vogel ,

back home in Danbury Ct, we couldn't believe it when she got her first commercial , It was for slimfast , the girl never had a fat cell in her body .She was also on several episodes of Full House , she played an animal trainer.

That's really sad....I remember her in quite a few different roles and 43 is just so damn young to hafta die. I read in your link that she battled breast cancer for 8 freakin years! A long time to fight. My heart goes out to her loved ones.

tamra, I certainly remember her. I read a few months ago that she'd had cancer for a while and I was very saddened.

She was the only reason I watched Bosom Buddies. There was another tv show she was on more recently and she was the only reason I watched that one too.

I was shocked to hear it myself. she was so young and when you think of her, you always thought of someone just full of life and energy, and humor.

but at least her work will live on for other cancer patient survivors. maybe the wait times for mamograms won't be so long from now, as that's the first start.

Several years ago I was dringking with some guys and the subject came up of "What actress would you fuck that nobody else would think of?"

I didn't remember her name, but said "The fat chick on Bosom Buddies." Then one of my friends says "You mean Wendie Jo Sperber?" We all just looked at him...

I liked her. She reminded me of a white Kim Coles...
