What's shakin', my man? I'm going up tonight at the Jukebox comedy club, too (it's my second time). If that's where you're playing, I'll see you there! I'm going to bring my camcorder to tape a special tribute for Richard. They start every show with a tribute to Richard, but today I want to do my own tribute. Hopefully, I can send it to him so he can see it. Hope to see you tonight!

Happy birthday from Peoria, Richard! It's my mom's birthday, too. I went to Barnes & Noble today and bought myself the Richard Pryor Show DVD to celebrate. I can't wait to watch it!

Tonight I'm going up for my second open mic attempt in Peoria. I'm going to tape the tribute that they do to you at the beginning of every show, and get all the comics to send their birthday regards. Can I send you a copy? I'd like you and Jennifer to see it, if possible.

Also, I just wanted to let you know that you inspired me to volunteer at TAPS. I saw the banner on your website, and signed up last night. I love animals, and I think it's great that you and Jennifer do so much to help them.

That's all for now. I have to get ready for tonight... I hope you have a happy birthday, and that there's many more to come! Richard, you are the *only* reason I'm proud to be from Peoria. Thanks for all the laughs!

I'll keep that in mind next time. I really will. The thing is, I was at Barnes & Noble getting something for my mom for her birthday, and I saw the Richard Pryor Show box set sitting there. It was an impulse buy. I was inspired by the moment. Can you dig it?

You, sir, are one funny motherfucker!!! You cracked me up last night! It was nice meeting you, and thank you very much for helping me out with that introduction. I wish Ralph Harris would've been there last night. We would've had a much bigger crowd. It was cool to pay homage to Richard, though. My camcorder bit the dust after about 15 minutes. I'm going to ask Dan if I can get a copy of the entire night on video, so I can edit it with my pre-show footage of everyone giving their birthday greetings to Richard. I really want Richard and Jennifer to see that.

By the way, dude, you should *definitely* keep going up on stage at amateur night! You got the gift, man. Keep it up!

I'm listening to your show right now. Great stuff! I'm looking forward to seeing Ralph Harris tonight. I'm going to the early show. Are you gonna be there? If so, I'll buy you a drink.
