tamra,
slight correcton ,
per ,my 91 year old step-father ,who has seen enough of life to know, NOTHING, I repeat NOTHING , will eat a domestic cat. Do you have turkey buzzards where to live ? They are #1 at eating road kill du jour , Have you ever seen them in the road getting their fill on the latest unlucky animal that did't make it across the road ,squirrels, deer ,opossums, rabbits , the occaistional dog ,but even they won't eat a cat, It will rot right where it's laying first. You would have to starve a Mountain Lion to near death before it would even concider it. There was a news story out west last year, people's cats were turning up missing, only to found days later, mauled and torn apart .The authorities were puzzled as to the hideous nature of these pet multilations , and couldnt' tell whether it was act of a animal or a crazy person. My pop and I were watching the story as reported .It was then He shared with me some of his knowledge. He grew up in the country , seen a lot of living and dying. But He's never seen another animal walking ,that would eat a cat .
