'Heroes'

I was walking by the WTC site last night and looked at the list of "Heroes." All I could think is that they were "victims" We don't call the innocent people caught in crossfire in Iraq "heroes."

Wording means everything. Here in this country we had a "tragedy" on 9/11/01, not an attack. We retaliated for this "tragedy" by "spreading democracy" not attacking a nation that had nothing to do with it.

Politics fucks everything up.

But the only real difference between Republicans and Democrats is what they lie about.

the real heroes were the ones who ran in to get others out after the attack began, esp. the disabled on the 80++ floors. and the other heroes were those who stopped to help others instead of just leaving.

and the fact that all their lives could have been spared had the public been made aware of the terrorist plans that were even presented to our leaders months before the attack.
