Hi Mr. Pryor,
It is me again, Daria. I also have a question about being an MC. I have been running a comedy room since August 2003 every wednesday night here in Sydney (by the way if you ever make it down to Sydney please let us know and me and my hubby would love to look after you and your lovely wife). While I run the room I am also the MC. Do you have any tips for me in that capacity as I find being MC totally different from being a headliner. Any feedback is appreciated more than you know.

Re: MC skills
Daria,
My best advice to you is to be warm and confident. The MC is the one who sets the tone for the room, if a comic bombs then the MC pick the crowd back up. Just make your material friendly to the room and try to get them involved to make fun of themselves....and if that doesn't work Always remember a comedy audience is always...80% womem and 20% men. Work the women and dog the men...you quick tip for easy laughs....and be CONFIDENT...

Robbie Peron making audiences laugh since 1986...Beer making ugly people look attractive since 1786.

Re: MC skills
Robbie,
That's the best advice for an emcee that I've heard in a long time. Short, sweet and to the point.
Thanks man.
