Domestic Spying

As I understand all I've read on this subject ..
The only Americans being spied on, are people who have in the past , and are currently in contact with operatives of Al-Queida overseas.If during the execution of our war on terror , American Armed Forces have captured information ie; phonebooks, notebooks, laptops,rolladex,from the enemy showing they have operatives inside the continental United States. I for one am all for them using any tool we have to listen in. People seem to forget we at war, just because we haven't been attacked since 9/11 , do you really think they have stopped trying to kill us . I do not think it serves anyone in government any purpose to spy on average citizens , calling each other , from city to city .,state to state.If you were a C.I.A. op , or an N.S.A. operative ,and you tapped in on a phone call from Duluth ,to Oklahoma City, and the women on the phone where old friends, shooting the shit,.What purpose would it serve? And what would you tell you supervisor you did all day .If anybody is tapping in on my phone calls , all they aquire is how very little I am on it.They would be bored to tears.
But again , It makes sense to me to spy on numbers found OVERSEAS What is your number doing in some cave in Afghanistan? Although as an American you have the right to contact any one you wish on the planet. There are a few hot spots right now in the world, Afghanistan,Iran , Iraq, North Korea, dangerous places, some with people who wake up in morning and pray to their god for assistance in killing a few of Uncle Sams Nephews and Neices , wherever they are.
Our enemies fight dirty,they don't have a uniform ,and they don't belong to one specific location .Their only goal is to kill and kill as many as they are able.
We must meet the challenges they present with every weapon at our disposal , because they are way past talking nice .

Sometimes our free press shoots us in the foot , the leak involving the spying on terrorists related phone calls is in the public.Our enemies know we are tying to keep up with their activities ,they may be changing tactics..http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/Investigation ... id=1499905 - this could be related'

We are fighting a war ,We are at war , we can't become complacent..

Anybody watching me is wasting mad money and is bored as hell ....

Anybody ease dropping on my mom is wondering how she can forget which one of her kids shes talking too so fast...

Anybody ease dropping on my neices is wondering how a girl can talk so fast ,and hear anything on a phone with that music blasting in the background...

Anybody ease dropping on ONE phone call ,that gives them ONE lead , that helps prevent ONE terrorist attack ,that saves ONE American life...is fine by me, while we are at war .
We are not living in normal circumstances ,so unusual measures need to be taken against an unusual enemy.When we were fighting the COLD WAR ,measures were taken by our government to ensure the existance/continuity of this country.Our enemy has changed names but our mission is the same.WE ARE AT WAR,Our enemy declared war long before
9/11, And alot of us didn't realize it .

I don't agree with alot of this administrations actions ,I do however note one by product of the policies they are using to fight terrorism .

Do you think they have stopped trying to kill us?. Do you think Al-Quieda in America has just scrapped their plans for murder and mayhem ? Or are they being thwarted by new tactics on our part? Many views that opppose our current leadership has been very vocal.But I haven't heard many stategies to fight the battle better.Kerry disagreed with Bush on most points,but what was his STRATEGY and why didn't the American people find it better than the incumbent ?
The democrats need to come up with a coherent plan and
voice it to the American people if they are going to unseat the republicans in 2008 ,

Let them kill us then, let them use our infrastructure ,our resources, our way of life.Let them use everything they can think of .Let them bomb us to peices.Let them blow up schools ,churches ,stadiums ,Anyplace where large amounts of people gather to make it worth their while .Let them kill us all . Let their radical views brainwash the willing and unwilling to strap C-4 onto their bodies and walk into the mall .Let them live in safe houses across the nation and conspire with each other freely , let them go to the public library and get more information if they don't have enough now.Let them kill us all ,unimpeded .Rent them the trucks and vans , buy them the diesel fuel and fertilizer, charter the planes ,let them kill us all .

I'm watching it now and watching the repeats of it. the whole situation makes no sense to me. but then again, the last 6 years haven't. everything's a complete contradiction even to what's written in the constitution.

I know terrorists jacked us up and we said we'd NEVER let terrorism change us. but even THAT is another contradiction, or was that a lie too? because this country has greatly changed, physically and mentally.

And since the enemy is using cell phones instead of carrier pigeons , anyone with any knowledge of modern warfare ,would understand the need to use any tool to their disposal to gain information of attacks,plans, and missions of THE ENEMY !!!

You say your rights are being violated , read up a little on "Typhoid Mary" a woman who was never arrested, was quarenteed for 2 years before she got a day in court.
Because she posed a threat to the public .
If you apply the same logic to your argument on Domestic spying , to the Health departments handling of "Typhoid Mary" does it hold up .????
