Yeah at that same concert with UTFO was Rappin Duke (Duh Ha Duh Ha you never thought rap would take it this far) and Joeski Love (Get Busy to the brand new dance called the Pee Wee Herman) along with Whistle (buggin) and this was all just about exactly 20 years ago!!!!!
Never saw Pac but I am thinking at the Hammer show Digital Underground performed too....so who knows...

I went to Zimbabwe. I know how white people feel in America now; relaxed! Cause when I heard the police car I knew they weren't coming after me!

deepseas,
when I saw her it was at a festival on the lake in Oakland. she turned out the show. a lot of the kids left after the hip hop artists wrapped up their sets. I was running around the festival trying to get everything done before her show because I was thinking the best is yet to come.
she's one of the few artists I can see live over and over and always have a good time.

bcddjjsc690,
One of the cool things about this thread is that reading everyones posts is waking up long comatose brain cells.
Reo Speedwagon
Foreigner
Alabama (2)
Motley Crue
Dokken (2)...George Lynch rocks, hell of a nice guy too.
astonamous,
Alan Parsons Project, Stones, America.
deepseas,
Hendrix, Stones, Doors.

hellifiknow,
well I for one will testify that any show I attended , I was under the influence of one or more legal and illegal substances , at any given time ,and sometimes for several days after the event.
My guardian Angels likes to party because we always had a good time and got home safely.

ditto...I've said I got Richard Pryor on one shoulder and Keith Richards on the other but we've always had a fine guardian angel to get us home safe if not sound.
Rain day?

hellifiknow,
I loved the outdoor shows. Nothing like the crowd in a stadium show . The mini -city feeling ,
I've been in lots of large crowds, this had to be the largest - Simon & Garfunkel Reunion , Central
Park NY, Sept 19 1981 , Estimated audience numbers were between 400,000 and 600,000,
We had prepared cash flow needs in the park to be met by , taking some blotter paper, and giving them a little stain with crisco oil .We sold the fake "acid" for $2.00 a hit .
Convincingly telling prospective customers to " only eat 1/2, it's really , really ,,really good " So If any of you out there, that was the only time you "took acid " . Your still virgins .trust me.
