I was a Gene Wilder fan first, to be honest.
But after I saw the Wilder/Pryor movies, I was hooked on Richard, too. I'll drop everything and watch one of their movies at the drop of a hat, if one is on TV. I watched "Silver Streak" on AMC last night... again.
I think they're easily one of the best comedy teams ever.

Toaster??? TOASTER?!?! Goddamn it I miss everything. I'm fairly new to Mr. Pryor's work, at least the stand up part of it. I only got into that last year when I saw I think it was Live on Sunset Strip. At least I think that was it, lol. Forgive me, having a blonde moment. I'm just restraining from doing the whole Wayne's World "We're not worthy!" thing.
Richard Pryor is insane( in a good way)!!! Though I only know from a handfull of movies but let me tell you that shit, all of it was lank hiliarious. Especially 'See no Evil Hear no Evil'that shit was the bomb.

Always loved Richard, always loved Gene ... but the both of them together? MADNESS! These two men are just brillant! I saw "Silver Streak" on AMC the other night myself and laughed myself silly as I always have. One of my all time favorites is "See No Evil, Hear No Evil", and my all time favorite scenes in any of their movies is when Richard and Gene are sent to prison and they are forced to "share" their cell with that hugh prisoner. Always gets me hysterical!
