news and news you could have guessed

I meant to post this a couple of weeks ago.

this first story came and went in seconds on local news, but should have been broadcast over and over

:

American Airlines was recently discovered to have had a rat infestation on almost all of its planes. the infestation involved the food and utensils. AA claims to have resolved the infestation. enjoy your next flight and meal.

and hopefully no rat chews through any important wiring or panels!

now why does this not surprise me:
a casting agent's office in NYC recently dumped out files of clients, many of whom are now local and national newscasters (anchors, weather, traffic). their names and addresses were included w/the files dumped. but this certainly confirms one thing: news ain't shit but another form of dumb you down, control your thoughts/purchases entertainment. kiss responsible journalism goodbye, because if producers are only concerned about how news anchor looks, how much of a shit would either give about oh gee, something serious like global warming.

bring back watergate busters type journalism.

I cannot think of female anchor's last name, but her first is Robin and she heads up the morning CNN show. but she gets on my last nerve. always giggling and laughing around serious stories that are barely squeezed in. and the laugh is annoying as hell! I channel flip around her, but one day, caught her picking up a toy racket to start a game before commercial break. and this was around the Katrina aftermath nightmares.
